This one-semester high school-level curriculum guide provides lesson plans for a half credit in high school economics using the video-baed course Economics for Everybody from Compass Classroom. To complete this plan of study, you will need the following resources: 

•  Economics for Everybody with optional Basic Economics textbook

CLEP prep is built into these lesson plans using the free Principles of Microeconomics course on modernstates.org and the free Principles of Macroeconomics course on modernstates.org

during the last six weeks of the semester. 

Each week consists of four days of instructions for students and wraps up with a “Co-op or Parent Meeting Day” that prompts parents or co-op teachers to discuss the current week’s topics and confirm that the student understands the material.
